Football Reach app: terms of use
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. Who we are
The Football Reach app ("the app") is run by Apps 365 Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13955007), registered office 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. On the App Store the app is published by APPS 365 LTD, and on Google Play by APPS 365: both are this company. You can reach us at any time at hello@footballreach.com or through Help in the app.
2. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Apps 365 Ltd about using the app and the web dashboards that go with it (/me, /coach and /club on footballreach.com). They apply alongside:
- our privacy notices, which explain how we use personal data (footballreach.com/app/privacy, and a notice for each player age band in the app);
- our community rules (footballreach.com/app/community-rules), which everyone in a squad follows;
- the coach code of conduct and coach checks policy, for coaches;
- our complaints procedure (footballreach.com/complaints).
The Football Reach website's own terms still cover the free assessment, the directory and anything bought on the website outside the app.
If you download the app from the App Store or Google Play, Apple's or Google's own terms also apply to the download and to anything you buy through their store. Section 19 sets out terms Apple asks us to include.
3. What Football Reach is
Football Reach is a training log for football players, their parents and their coaches. It gives players a daily practice session from Archie's drills, lets them log practice in seconds (even with no signal), and shows progress against their own past.
It is not a prediction, a scouting service, or a guarantee of any outcome. A result, trend or level reflects what was logged or answered at the time. It does not mean anyone will, or will not, reach any level or become a professional footballer. Results timed by the player are shown as self-timed, and progress is shown against the player's own past, never as a judgement of ability.
4. Who can use the app
| Who | Rule |
|---|---|
| Parents and guardians | 18 or over. You hold the account for every player under 16 you add, and every 16 or 17 year old still on your account. Up to 4 players and 2 carers per family |
| Coaches and co-coaches | 18 or over, with your own account and a confirmed email. To reach players under 18 you must also be confirmed under our coach checks policy |
| Players aged 16 or over | You can have your own account |
| Players under 16 | You use the app through your parent's or guardian's account: in player mode on their phone, or on your own device paired by a code. You never have an email address or password with us |
| Anyone | You can watch the drills without an account |
When you sign up you tell us your year of birth and confirm a declaration (for example "I'm 18 or over and I'm the parent or guardian of the players I add"). Only make that declaration if it is true. If we find an account was opened by someone who does not meet these rules, we may close it.
The app is offered in the United Kingdom only.
5. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date, including each player's birth month and year, because the app uses it to show the right features and drills for their age.
- Keep access to your account to yourself. Do not share it. Coaches must never share an account.
- Set a parent PIN or use Face ID, a fingerprint or your device passcode. The app uses it to protect purchases, settings, consents, sharing and external links.
- You are responsible for the devices you pair with your account. If a device is lost, or you no longer want it linked, sign it out in the Family tab (Phones and tablets): that wipes the app's data from it.
- Tell us at once at hello@footballreach.com if you think someone else has used your account.
6. Parents and guardians
If you hold an account for a player, you agree that:
- you are their parent or guardian, or have their parent's or guardian's permission;
- you decide whether they join squads, whether their cards can be shared outside the app, and whether they are included in comparisons, and you approve their nickname;
- you help them use the app safely, including by reading their privacy notice with them;
- the app is designed to support practice without pressure, and you will not use it to push a child to train when they need rest. Pauses are free and unlimited.
Players aged 13 or over can ask us themselves for a copy of their data or for it to be deleted. We handle that as their right and tell you.
7. Squads
- Squads are closed groups run by a coach. You join only with the coach's code. A parent approves every player under 16, and every 16 or 17 year old still on a parent's account; a player aged 13 to 15 also accepts the invite themselves.
- Before joining a squad you accept the community rules.
- Squads open to players under 18 only when the coach has been confirmed by their club's welfare officer, or runs a provider listing we have checked for safeguarding. Payment never unlocks this.
- Coaches follow the coach code of conduct. Every coach action is logged, and everything a coach sends is copied to parents.
- We, the club's welfare officer or a kill switch may pause a coach or squad at any time. The training log keeps working while a squad is paused.
8. How we keep users safe
Football Reach is designed to protect children and everyone else who uses it:
- there are no messages, no free text between users, no follows, no search, no public profiles, no photo or video uploads and no location;
- praise, reactions and coach announcements come from fixed lists;
- nicknames and squad names are checked by an automatic filter before they are used, and a parent approves a child's nickname;
- Report a concern is on every squad screen. A person reviews every report within 24 hours. A concern about a coach pauses that coach at once;
- if something breaks the law or our rules, we remove it, usually within 24 hours, and we may pause a coach or squad, or suspend or close an account;
- if we suspect child sexual abuse material or grooming, we do not open, copy or forward it; we suspend the account, keep the record, and report to CEOP and the police;
- we may tell the club welfare officer, The FA's safeguarding team, the police or children's services when a child's safety needs it.
More detail is in the community rules, and our child safety standards.
If someone is in danger, call 999. Children can call Childline free on 0800 1111.
9. Complaints and appeals
You can complain about anything in the app, including your data, content you think is illegal or harmful to children, how we follow online safety rules, or a decision we made about your content or account. Use Help, then Make a complaint, or footballreach.com/complaints. We acknowledge every complaint straight away with a reference, look into it, tell you the outcome and how to take it further. Our complaints procedure has the details, including how children can complain.
10. Training safely
- Drills, sessions, skill checks and plans are general guidance for football practice. They are not medical, physiotherapy, nutrition or coaching advice for any individual.
- Read each drill's common mistake and safety card before the first try, warm up first, and use a safe space.
- Players should practise with an adult's agreement and, for younger players, with an adult nearby.
- Stop if anything hurts. If a player has an injury, illness or health condition, ask a doctor before starting new physical training, especially for young or growing players. Use a pause for rest and recovery: it never costs a streak.
11. Free and Plus
The training log, every Archie drill (streamed), Archie's daily session, the full history list, streaks, levels and badges, squads, praise, the weekly summary, and a 2-week starter of each programme are free.
Plus covers the whole family (up to 4 players and 2 carers) and adds, for example, offline drill packs, trends and charts for every skill, the full 6-week programmes, a 90-day plan for every player and the full weekly report. The paywall shows what Plus includes at the time you buy.
- Plus is offered only to parents and guardians (in the parent area, behind the parent check) and to players aged 16 or over on their own account. No player under 16 ever sees a price.
- Squads, coach praise and squad goals are never part of Plus.
- If you already pay £2.99 a month for the Football Reach Progress Tracker on our website, that subscription gives your family Plus in the app at no extra cost, for as long as it continues. Sign in to the app with the same email to turn it on.
12. Subscriptions, payments, cancellation and refunds
Prices and the renewal terms are also shown on the payment screen before you buy.
Prices
- Plus: £6.99 a month or £49.99 a year, with a 14-day free trial on the yearly plan.
- 90-day Player Development Plan: £9.99 once, for one named player. It is included in Plus.
Prices include VAT. The price you pay is the one shown on the payment screen when you buy.
Buying in the App Store or Google Play (store billing)
- Apple or Google takes the payment and their terms apply to it.
- Plus renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel. On the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period to avoid the next charge. On Google Play, cancel at any time before renewal.
- To cancel, use your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. The Plus screen in the Family tab has a link to them. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
- Free trial: we remind you 2 days before a trial charges. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged.
- Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules. We cannot refund a store purchase ourselves. If Apple or Google refunds a purchase, the Plus or 90-day plan it paid for ends straight away.
- Restore purchases is on the paywall and in the Family tab.
- Family Sharing is off for every product: one Plus already covers the whole family on every device, through your Football Reach account.
Buying on the website (web billing)
- Payments are taken securely by Stripe. We never see your card details.
- Plus renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel in two taps on the web, or by emailing us, and it stops at the end of the current period.
- Refunds: before you pay, you ask us to start Plus straight away and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day cancellation right for digital content ends once it has started, as on our website today. Even so, if Plus is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of buying and we will put it right, including a refund where appropriate. A full refund ends Plus straight away.
- Plus bought on the website works in the app when you sign in, and Plus bought in the app works on the website.
The 90-day plan
- It runs for 90 days from the day you buy it, for the player you choose, and ends automatically: nothing renews and nothing more is charged. Before you buy, you see the player's name, the start date and the last day.
- On the App Store it is a non-renewing subscription; on Google Play it is a one-time purchase. You can buy it again for another player, or after it ends.
- When it ends, the plans already delivered stay readable, and every result and log stays.
When Plus ends
Every result, log and history stays. Features that need Plus stop at the end of the paid period. Plus never deletes anything.
Price changes
If the price of Plus changes, we tell you before it applies to you, and store subscriptions follow Apple's and Google's rules on price changes, which may ask you to agree to the new price.
13. Our content and how you may use it
- The drills, videos, sheets, Archie, the app's design and its text belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them in the app for your own or your family's football practice.
- Coaches may show drill sheets to their own squad and use the team session planner for their own coaching.
- Do not copy, publish, sell or share drill videos or sheets outside these uses, and do not remove our marks from them. Share cards made in the app may be shared as the app allows.
14. Your content
Your records (logs, measures, goals, nicknames, squad names and the presets you send) are yours. You give us permission to store, sync and show them as the app describes, only to run Football Reach for you. We never sell them or use them for advertising. You can download them at any time, free, and delete them in the app.
15. What you must not do
- Break the community rules, the coach code of conduct or the law.
- Use the app to contact a child outside the app, or to get a child's contact details.
- Pretend to be someone else, or open an account for someone without their permission (or, for a child, their parent's).
- Post a squad code in public.
- Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, overload or try to get around the app's security, age rules, parental controls or filters.
- Use the app for any commercial purpose other than coaching your own squad.
16. The app, offline use and updates
- The app saves your logs on your phone first and syncs them when it can. It shows "saved on phone" or "synced" on each record, and warns you before sign-out if anything has not synced. Keep the app updated: very old versions may need to update before they can sync.
- We work hard to keep the app available and your records safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free from faults. Your export is your own copy at any time.
- We may change, add or remove features. Any change to what data the app collects or who can see it ships only in a new store version, after we review our safety and data protection assessments.
- Our closure promise: if Football Reach ever closes, every family gets 90 days' notice and a full export.
17. Ending your account
- You can delete a player or your whole account in the app at any time (the Family tab), or at footballreach.com/delete-account. A coach's squads pass to a co-coach, or close and their parents are told. Deleting does not cancel a store subscription: cancel it in the App Store or Google Play as well. The app shows you how.
- We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if these terms are broken, if a child's safety needs it, or if the law requires it. Where it is safe to do so, we tell you why and how to appeal.
- Accounts with no sign-in or log for 24 months are warned by email and then deleted 60 days later.
18. Liability and your rights
- Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
- Apart from that, to the fullest extent the law allows, Apps 365 Ltd is not liable for any decision made on the basis of a Football Reach result, trend, plan or report, or for loss that was not foreseeable.
- If digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or compensate you.
19. Terms for the Apple version of the app
If you downloaded the app from the App Store:
- These terms are between you and Apps 365 Ltd, not Apple. Apps 365 Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
- Your licence is a non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store's Usage Rules allow.
- Apps 365 Ltd, not Apple, provides support for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide support.
- If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies by law, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- Apps 365 Ltd, not Apple, handles any claim about the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and claims that the app or your use of it infringes someone else's intellectual property.
- You confirm you are not in a country subject to a United States government embargo, and are not on a United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Our name, address and contact details are in section 1.
- You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, for example your mobile network's.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the law changes or when we add a feature. We tell you in the app before a change takes effect. If a change is significant, we ask you to accept the new terms; if you do not, you can delete your account and, for a web subscription, we refund any unused part of the period.
21. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
